Career goal: High School Biology Teacher Why: I would like to become a High School Biology teacher because I love science. Science has always been a subject that I have been good at and I have enjoyed. When I was in 8th grade I had Mrs. Otteman as my science teacher and she is the one that got me interested in the study of biology. In 8th grade we only spent a short amount of time on it. So when I was a sophomore I was pleased that I could take a science class just on the study of Biology. I just do not want to go into a science degree program in college because I want to be a teacher. I love school and I want to be one of those teachers that gets kids excited for science and school.
Plan of Action
Education required: Bachelor’s degree in education and you need to obtain a teachers License. You can also get a master or even PHD if you want to go trough that much schooling. School Program: I wish to attened Emopria State University. They have an undergraduate program for post secondary education in science.
